On Saturday we all went downtown to drop Jillian off at her exciting sleepover...at the Ontario Science Centre! The whole Brownie troop went down along with many other troops to enjoy some late night science, snacks & a dance party complete with DJ, very cool. We arrived a few hours before the Brownie meeting time so we walked around and explored a bit. Spending a few minutes in the tropical rainforest was a nice break from the cold and snow. The kids spent a lot of time building tracks and racing balls. There was a silly "scientist" there helping the kids and doing goofy stuff like trying to race shoes down the track.

I love this giant globe...kind of mesmerizing to watch it slowly rotate with the pretty lights
(it doesn't take much to keep me entertained)
It was nice to get out of the house with all the kids for a break. Now I look forward to Monday morning when the kids all go off to school and the house is once again kid-free for a few hours. Although maybe dread is the right word since there seems to be a mess on every floor of the house to be cleaned up!
