On the school break we had a chance to visit with a lot of friends. One day between looking after 3 little ones for a friend of mine, and having 2 other families over for playdates I had 11 kids in the house. And how do you entertain 11 kids at once, with ages ranging from 2-10? The little ones did puzzles and played in the basement playroom.
The bigger boys did this 75% of the time...the other 25% they were using foam noodles as swords. All 3 of these boys have the same interests, which right now is Skylander (our guests even arrived with their own Skylander figurines).
The girls on the other hand cleared off the craft table and set up a salon. Zoe was kind enough to bring her makeup bag and treat all the little girls to a makeover. They all loved having fancy makeup on and getting their nails painted. It's interesting to see the natural difference between girls and boys.
