I can hardly believe this amazing little girl is now a 7 year old.
Jillian is my middle child - she is headstrong, confident, sweet, funny, smart, silly, artistic and my little fashionista.

Of all 3 birth experiences, Jillian's was the best. An easy birth and we were put in a large room all by ourselves. Being a second time mom meant I was a lot more relaxed with breastfeeding and all that fun stuff that comes along with a newborn. That quiet night in the hospital with this sweet little baby girl is one of my best memories.

Jillian woke up on her birthday bright and early. Once we were all awake (ahem, that means once I woke up), it was onto our family tradition of opening up all the presents first thing in the morning. We had to open up the Just Dance Kids 2 for wii right away so Jillian could try it out along with her new pink wii remote. We had a fantastic family day...we had a full house and Jillian celebrated her birthday with aunts, uncles, cousins and grandparents.

I was attempting to make a Tangled cake along with tower and Rapunzel's long hair...I don't remember the castle in the movie tipping over this much though! In any case Jillian was happy with her purple sparkly cake.

Fast forward 1 week later and we had Jillian's friend birthday party. This year Jillian chose to take 6 friends (and her little sister) to a play at a small children's theatre. The actors even called Jillian to the stage and had the whole theatre sing Happy Birthday. The play was very cute, Leah even volunteered at one point and was up on stage helping out Sleeping Beauty. We were able to use the stage area afterwards for snacks and games. The girls had a lot of fun running around with balloons, playing charades and eating cupcakes and cookies.
waiting for the show to start...one of the perks of booking a birthday party was reserved seating and getting into the theatre early
Happy Birthday to my Jillian - I hope the year ahead is filled with laughter and fun for you!
