Cirque du Soleil

Cirque du Soleil put on amazing shows.  Jeff and I saw one many years ago in Toronto and I absolutely loved it.  So, when I was researching our Quebec City trip and read about the free Cirque show it immediately went on our must-do list for the trip.  The free show is put on in the street at night.  We walked there from our hotel and waited for only a little while before the show started.  It was a bit spooky for the kids as it was dark, under the overpass there is a lot of graffiti, and there is music playing which sets the stage.  Then the characters from the show made an entrance alongside us and once the show started things were lit up and the kids really enjoyed all the acts.  It was a bit hard to see at times, however there was a portion of the show directly in front of us which was great.

Here are a few of the pictures I was able to get, although it was hard to get decent pictures with the low lighting and everyone moving so fast!

Jillian loved seeing these performers as they posed in front of us...Jillian was front and centre for this part of the show.
