Magical Moments

Going on a Disney Cruise has been a dream of mine for quite a while.  Last March when Jeff suggested we go ahead and book one for this summer I contacted the travel agent and got it booked before he had a chance to give it a second thought!  We sailed on the Disney Magic and the name says it all...our trip was full of magical moments, big and small.

sailing out of NYC was amazing because we had a chance to visit the city and sail past the Statue of Liberty on our way down the Hudson.

portholes!
the kids loved playing in them
I loved taking pictures of them

our first character interaction was on our way to dinner when Goofy just happened to be walking past.  The characters are always ready to give the kids a high five and pose for a picture.  Leah was a bit shy this first time but by the end of the cruise she was dancing on stage with Mickey Mouse and a big smile on her face!

Mickey ice cream bars...this was Jillian's first mickey bar of the cruise on our first night.  Our server quickly knew to bring her one each night for dessert.  Kyle and Leah were willing to try a few other desserts but had their fair share of mickey bars as well.
Formal night...getting Jeff and Kyle dressed up defininately takes a bit of magic.

my little princess
all 3 kids enjoyed this trip but I think seeing Leah's face light up with meeting princesses and going on rides at Magic Kingdom was one of the highlights of the trip for me

coming back to our rooms each night to made up beds, lined up stuffed animals, towel animals to entertain the kids, little chocolates and a navigator full of the events for the next day

taking an animation class with my favourite little artiste

hanging out with my buddy...watching the Avengers, walking around on deck at 11:00pm on our last night at sea...enjoying some late night ice cream and playing foosball

I never got tired of looking at this beautiful view of the ocean from the deck, and the girls were always happy to pose for a picture
Main Street USA
walking into Magic Kingdom and walking up main street USA is nothing short of magical no matter how many times we do it

Palo
going to this amazing restaurant with my handsome husband, enjoying this view of the sunset and finishing off our meal with the best chocolate souffle in the world (seriously...think of the best dessert you have ever had...this is 10 times better).
