Chocolate cupcakes with chocolate icing and decorated with mini reese peanut butter cups are always a big hit (Jeff is thankful we don't have any peanut allergies in the house so his beloved peanut butter is safe).
Since we had a busy evening between gymnastics and parent-teacher conferences, Jeff picked up his own birthday meal on the way home for us to eat in the 45 minutes we had after gymnastics and before conferences. (both excellent conferences by the way, Kyle and Jillian both have amazing teachers and both kids are doing fantastic).
Our fun new addition to the playroom. A few days before Jeff's birthday I went and picked up his birthday gift...foosball!
I found a foosball table on kijiji for a great price. It weighs a ton and only just fit into the van with the legs off...but once we finally got it into the basement and set up we were ready to go. It's a good solid table, I think we will have years of use out of it. Kyle has already played with his friends and the kids have each had tournaments with Jeff.
