weekend recap

* Jillian had a great time at her first overnight Brownie camp from Friday evening until Sunday morning (actually a Guide camp but the Guide leader brought 4 Brownies along which was really nice).  To make things even more exciting the camp was all about cooking and crafts...two of Jillian's favourite things!

* Kyle had a very social weekend...Saturday was tennis lessons followed by friend coming over to play Magic the Gathering and try out the new foosball table.  On Sunday he went to another friend's house after church to play the new Skylanders Giants game.

* Leah, who is usually left at home while Kyle & Jillian go off on social outings, was able to join Kyle on Sunday afternoon because as luck would have it Kyle's buddy Logan has a little sister who just happens to be one of Leah's best friends.  Leah and Zara-Jade had a great time playing in the princess tent, colouring and using glitter.  What a nice mommy Zara-Jade has because there's no glitter in this house!  Although Santa may bring a bottle or two of glitter glue for my girls...

And Jillian finishing up her very first sewing project, a Christmas tree ornament which she sewed entirely by herself.  I'm continually amazed at Jillian and how many things she excels at when she gives them a try.
