H'ween 2012

Another successful sugar grab by the kids.  It was chilly and a bit rainy but that doesn't stop my kiddos from trick or treating.  We had a few friends come over and met up with even more once we were out and ended up with quite an interesting group of trick or treaters... MIB agents, a princess, a horse rider, Spock, Thor and several students from Hogwarts.

Men in Black: Agent K is on the scene

Pumpkin carving on the night before halloween.  Jillian and Leah are always keen to get their hands in there and pull out all the pumpkin guts.  Kyle hates, and I do mean hates, putting his hands in there.  But this year we told him if he wanted to design his own pumpkin he'd have to clear it out himself so he got right in there.  But he wasn't happy about it.

And for some reason I forgot to take a picture of the folks with the kids as I usually do each year.  My Mom and Dad so nicely come out every year on Halloween so Jeff and I can both go out with the kids.  This comes in handy when one or more decide they are done earlier than the others.  This year it was Leah who after a short while declared "I'm done, this is enough candy for a little girl".  I couldn't even talk her into trick or treating at the houses on our way home, once she was done, she was DONE.
