Night 1
we found Jingle climbing up our lamp
Night 2 - we had moved Jingle back to the fireplace mantle and he didn't move that night (oops!). It turns out when you touch elves they lose their special magic which lets them fly to the North Pole at night. Kyle read online you can use cinnamon to help them out, it's like vitamins to an elf. That night we put a small bowl of cinnamon next to Jingle and it seemed to help, he was back to being his usual playful self.
Night 3
he decided to do some artwork on Leah's magnadoodle, even signed his work
(good penmanship for an elf)
Night 4
Jingle got into the flour and made a snow-elf...we don't have any snow here, he must be missing the snow and North Pole
Night 5
We finally got our Christmas tree up and I think Jingle likes it...he made his way to the top and we found him sitting in front of the star
Night 6
Jingle decided to take a ride on Jillian's reindeer
Night 7 Jingle got into the tinsel we have all over one of our small Christmas trees, but I forgot to take a picture
Night 8
Just hanging around
(and he liked it here so much he stayed for an extra night...)
Night 10
Jingle got himself into a bit of mischief with the toilet paper...silly elf!
Night 11
Jingle got out Leah's duplo lego and built a house and Christmas tree for the penguin...what a thoughtful elf
Nights 12 & 13
Jingle decided to snuggle into our stockings, he started out in Leah's and moved to Kyle's the next night
Night 14
Playing in Leah's kitchen, she was excited to find that he'd actually tidied up her toy food
It's been a fun 2 weeks so far with Jingle in the house...still another 2 weeks until we need to say good-bye, hopefully he continues to stay out of trouble!
